Playco Playground Equipment
Smart Play Ltd – The Playground Specialists are the South Island agent for the New Zealand owned play equipment company, Playco. We can supply and/or install any Playco product you require.
The Playco range is extensive and caters for children of all ages – from toddlers to juniors and seniors – with Senior Fitness Cubes offering an extra challenge.
The Playco range:
- Access components – climbers, which range in difficulty, provide access to platforms.
- Activities and panels – interactive panels are designed to stimulate young children’s minds and offer creative play options. Activities range from old favourites like Tic Tac Toe to truck or boat themed frames and panels
- Carousels – a range of rotating play items offers children the chance to enjoy moving equipment and encourages interactive play
- Springy’s and seesaws – the spring rider and seesaw range is bright, fun and creative. It includes life-like insects and creatures and new innovative models
- Slides and swings – the slide range includes double and tube slides especially suited for toddler and junior playgrounds. The comprehensive range of swings caters for children of all ages from infant to senior and includes new basket swings
- Overhead – overhead bars for swinging include monkey bars and spider gliders. The overhead items are designed to help build upper body strength, and range in difficulty
- Health and fitness – exercise stations and fitness trails provide the opportunity for outdoor physical activity
- Transitional items – bridges and crossings allow users to traverse from one platform to the next. They include balance beams, cables, chains and clatter bridges

Safety Surfacing
The Smart Play - The playground Specialists offers a range of safety surfacing products which can be purchased direct (and delivered to you) and/or installed by us.
- Safety matting – interlocking, synthetic matting is available in a range of colours to provide a safe play surface designed to absorb impact. We use Play Matta products – a New Zealand company that uses recycled rubber and PVC to create a layered playground surfacing system, overlaid by durable and attractive PVC modular tiles
- Soft walls – foam walls for indoor playgrounds
- Poured-in-Place – Pour-in-Place is a high-quality shock pad with a colourful rubber top layer, which is poured into place
- Bark and woodchip – we supply playground-certified bark and Safe Fall (Woodchip )that can also be installed and maintained by us
Other products
Playground and sandpit timber edging – we can supply, install, maintain and repair timber edging as required.
Play space products and accessories – other products include park benches, litter bins, picnic tables, pavilions, shelters, fences, gates, cycles racks and signs.
